Fun at lunch...

Mommy and Daddy were having fun with me at lunch the other day.  I'n pretty sure they're laughing with me...New video to the right ->

My hair is getting longer

I'm really starting to grow now!  My hair too.  Mommy left me alone with Daddy the other day and this is what he came up with.  I think he's starting to get the hang of it.

15 Months

Growing

Charley is running all over the place now.  And of course with that, she is getting into everything as well.  I guess it's time to start baby-proofing this place a little more. 

It's great to see her running around smiling and giggling...grabbing her favorite toy Pooh bear and holding him as he exclaims "That was such a nice hug".  Then she'll put him down for a bit, walk over and hug my legs putting her head in my lap as if to say, "I love that you're here" and then take off again grabbing Pooh by the ears this time and dragging him over to meet his nearly identical doppleganger who hasn't been blessed with the walking skills of her favorite Pooh bear. 

Then its off to the cabinets, pulling out ziploc bags, band-aids, juice cups and don't get me started on the 500 plastic straws.  I can't believe that I ever possessed that much energy...but I'll use what I have to clean it up so I can watch her do it all over again. :)

I have my Little Tikes license!

Mommy and Daddy bought me a brand new car!  It makes all sorts of sounds.  I like going for a ride around the block...beeping the horn and shifting the gears.  Sometimes it feels like I'm not even the one whose steering!

My 1st Birthday

Wow.  Its been a whole year.  As I look back on the year and think of all the things that we have already been through.  I can't believe it.  It seems like yesterday we brought Charley home from the hospital.  Then before you know it we're standing at the hospital doors crying as they take my beautiful girl away to have her "mark" removed from her face.  And here she sits celebrating her first year like any other little girl hoping that her mommy & daddy bring a little brother into the world for her to torment.  I cant even imagine what the next year will bring.

First time playing in the Sand

We at Burt & Kelly's wedding.  Charley is enjoying the feel of the sand for the very first time.  She loved it.  How could you not.  Destin was beautiful. You can see Charley's scar from her surgery just the day before this picture was taken.  She is doing great.
